Hana has worked with Take a Part to document a huge variety of projects including ‘British Art Show 7‘ and ‘The Art Orbit’. She has also been comissioned by Take a Part to work with various community groups to create other pieces of film work connected to our delivery.
Freelance filmmaker and creative education practitioner, Hana has worked with film, kids and art for ten years. She divides her time between independent, commercial and education shoots which means that not one of her days is ever the same.
During her community commissions Hana uses filmmaking as a tool to bring people together as she believes that useful and positive models of social change can be grown out of the enjoyment of shared practical activities.
Hana has worked on many big sets and gets regularly commissioned in the health, education and arts sectors. Her personal favourite job is a bit of low-budget drama with and for children. She has worked as a filmmaker and film mentor in Efford schools and community groups and feels honoured to have grown close to the creative community that has bubbled up there.
