Allister Gall

Allister is an artist, musician and filmmaker. Working across a range of moving image, sound and performative practices, he explores process, aesthetics and participatory approaches. His film project Imperfect Cinema began in 2010. It focuses on d.i.y methods, collective experiences and social-face-to-face interactions – a ‘Cinema of Imperfection’. His films and projects have been exhibited at the Peckham 24 and Lift Off Film Festival in London; the Supersonic Festival in Birmingham; Sightlines Film Festival in Melbourne and Interstate Galleries in Brooklyn, New York. He is a lecturer in Media Arts at Plymouth University.
