Rosie Bowery is an artist and Illustrator based in Plymouth, currently exploring environmental issues and capitalism using Printmaking as a focus. She recently completed a Masters in Art & Politics at Goldsmiths University, London.
Rosie ran a lino printing workshop with Crazy Glue art group at Prince Rock school in 2019, themed around ideas of the sea, what's beyond it, and what's hidden in it. Lots of varying found objects from Plymouth's beaches were used to spark inspiration through form and texture. It was a really fun workshop, with both the children and parents getting involved in creating a wide range of images, from storms and sea life, to monsters and waves.
