Simon Bayliss

Simon is an artist based in St Ives, Cornwall. He delivers workshops

and talks under the name ‘Landscape Painters Anonymous’, which aim to

encourage the pleasurable and social experiences of painting outdoors.

Part of his own practice involves making daily en plein air paintings in the coastal landscape or public gardens around St Ives.

As well as painting, Bayliss makes ceramics, writes and performs

poetry, and is the founder and director of Artist Tea Towel Company, a

social enterprise selling tea towels by artists. He also works

collaboratively with artist Susie Green as Splash Addict, producing and

performing dance music.
