Anna Boland
Anna worked with Take a Part on 'Sculpting Saltram' a partnership project with The National Trust. Anna worked with pupils from The Creative School Of Arts to create a sculptural piece based on an old army tank.
Anna Boland has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and an MA in Contemporary Visual Art and she has been working as a freelance artist for the past 17 years.
Undertaking over 60 community, public, site specific, commission based and self initiated art projects. She has worked with local authorities, arts organisations, schools, colleges, universities, institutions, museums, galleries, alternative education settings, pupil referral units and young offenders.
Her practice is diverse and crosses the boundaries of 2 and 3 dimensions and she uses a wide range of materials, techniques and processes. She is particularly interested in the crossover with Science and Art – and making the invisible visible.
