Carmen Wong

Carmen has been collaborating with Take A Part to develop Social Art Network South West

Carmen is a curiously hungry nomad, performance-maker, and artist-researcher from Singapore and the US. Since 2009 she has been working on a body of participatory projects that examine food: its symbolic and mnemonic codes, and its interactions with growers, makers, eaters. She is exploring facilitation as a modality of diffracting participation, and how this intersects with her interests in home, belonging, estrangement, migration, care as a commons, and storying our ecological links to water.
